Well hello there!! How are you all doing? Today I want to talk about something that means the world to me: my little lady!! She is really the love and light of my life. I’m so very blessed and happy to be her Mom. I try to spend as much time as I can just with her reading, playing, crafting, or just doing girly stuff. I am not a “girly girl”, but my Daughter is and she loves the color pink & make up! She will be 9 at the end of October and she’s really a character of her own, for sure!! Unfortunately, she spends almost every weekend at her Grandparents (my parents) so we can only do all the fun stuff when she comes home from school.
She came to me on the morning of March 3rd right before school started and asked me what we could do that afternoon. She had her little purse in her hand filled with all of her nail polish and looked at me with what I call her devilish smile, and then she laughed out loud. So yep, I spent the afternoon polishing her little fingernails with all kinds of different colors and even glitters!
These are all her nail polish bottles
and this is the result, which of course had to match the outfit she planned to wear the next day!
What types of activities do you do with your kids to spend some quality time with them? I would love to hear about it, so please leave a comment. Have a great day and enjoy!
Hi all!! Natascha here with a brand new inspirational list in our Love series.
I know Valentine’s day is over, but love is present in our everyday lives (as well as special occasions) so this list of romantic songs will be perfect for inspiring your next love themed scrapbook page. My boyfriend and I will be celebrating our 10 year anniversary in June and I’m sure I’ll be using some of these songs as inspiration for my layout about this big day in our lives!
Hello Tickled Pink fans! Natascha here on the blog with the next installment in our Love Lists series. This time I want to talk about romantic movies! Like I mentioned in the previous post, my boyfriend isn’t romantic at all, so no movie watching with him this Valentine’s Day! He’s only interested in action movies with Steven Seagal…Been there, done that, and have seen them all *yikes*!
Well, hello Tickled Pink Fans! Today we’re talking about love! It’s February and that means Valentine’s day is coming. Do you do anything special for it? Unfortunately, my boyfriend thinks (and says!) it’s too commercialized. I know it’s true, but still it’s nice to have a special day to express your love and appreciation for the special people in your life. I’m hoping things will change this year and my unromantic boyfriend will surprise me!
Natascha here on the blog today to share some of our Christmas traditions. We have a Dutch tradition called Sinterklaas here in the Netherlands and because of that we always start later with decorating the tree and the house for Christmas! Normally we start when he leaves (December 6th), but because of my surgery and then the hubsters sugery we started halfway week 2 with buying one and this week I finished decorating the tree…OMG I’m so very glad I got a small one this year!
